Excellent burger cooked to perfection and served on a real plate with a fork and knife. This is gourmet eating for the fast food aficionado. Location is kind of obscure tucked in the corner of a strip mall with most of the surrounding business gone. That didn't deter me from stoping in. If Yelp gives them the thumbs up then i'm game as well. Come hungry because most of the burgers on the menu are heavy weights. This is my first time in OKC and Ron's definitely hit the spot. Clean restaurant, friendly staff and giant burgers. Whats not to like?

Grease is the word. But good is the word too. Don't worry about grease. This is no place to have such concerns. I try to duplicate a Ron's burger at home, but I'm always about 30 percent short. Notice that onions are pressed into the burger patties while frying. And the buns are heated on the grill with butter. Yum. Now about that chili. I think it is simply Schwabb's. Yeah, right there by the wieners at the grocery story. It's in a brick from N.W. 6th and Western, OKC, is my guess. Mel

Ron's is a solid burger joint. You get everything you expect from that label. The fries are real, and cut straight from potatoes. They have great chili, and the chili burger is really not that messy if you know how to handle it; the chili burger is a must at some point. A plain cup or bowl of chili is also a great choice with whatever toppings you want that they offer(cheese, onions, etc.) The dining area is comfortable and is very open. Their tea is raved about by patrons, but I have not had it; the talk in the dining room mentions it.

Lov their Chili on just about anything - or all by itself!! My usual is the two way with onions over spaghetti. Tried the polish on a bun and it was great although too much! Took half of it home! Take all my friends there at least once and they always want to go back.

Less than average chilli. Heard they were the best in town but maybe only with their burgers. I'll definitely go back to try a cheeseburger. Service: ordered it to go. Waitress acted as if helping me was an inconvenience and was clearly far more friendly with the rest of the guests in the store. Wish she would have offered me beans. After studying the menu more, beans are only available upon request. Who eats chilli without beans?! Despite all that, very reasonable prices.

If you looking for an old fashioned greasy spoon hamburger joint with lots of food for a good price then this is where to go! Wife keep commenting that I was having a heart attach on a plate.. but I think the pain may have been worth it.

This place is good. Be warned, its mega-greasy. To give you an idea of what to expect: I always come here when I get hungry from watching "Man vs Food." So bulk food, "okay" taste, and not terribly expensive. Total "diner" feel to it. This location was pretty empty even on a Saturday at noon.

Burgers and Chili. This place has been making them for forty years now. In that time, they have won a few accolades, and good on them! Everyone deserves the occasional pat on the back. And, Ron's has something better than awards from critics, loyal customers. As a judge of the quality of a restaurant, that's usually a pretty good one. When you pull up to a restaurant and see a parking lot meant to work for a big strip mall mostly full of people wanting to eat their food, well it should be a good sign. In this case however, those two signs come together to provide merely a clue as to what Okies have been eating since the end of the dust bowl. Okies want, no, demand huge portions with lots of meat, and all the flavour one might expect for people who've had their taste buds destroyed by dust. After enough of a wait, in this "seat yourself" establishment, for any service, to cause even my normally zen like companion to crane their neck in hopes of catching any employee's eye, a busser finally asked what we would like to drink. It was halfway through our meal before we finally met our server, who was great. You may think I kid, and as happens all too often, I wish I were. The chili had all of the spices one might expect, but from the flavour, they have been left in an open container and maybe sifted with flour, or dust. There was no heat. There were none of the joyful, zesty tastes one may enjoy of any peppers what so ever. You like garlic? Well shoot, that's too bad. You are hoping for a juicy beef flavour? Oh, wouldn't that be lovely? So, restaurant full of people, happy folk, enjoying their vast amounts of food, enjoying their service... Or perhaps just the frosted mug of root beer, which was lovely and worth one of the stars above. And, when it was finally delivered by the very overworked wait staff, my companions hot ham-n-cheese was lovely as well. Maybe, in fact, that's the secret, get nothing with chili in, on, or around it. Maybe that's the best way to enjoy Ron's hamburger and chili.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. Ron's special is the way to go....also best fried jalapeño ever. This is always our go to hamburger place especially after a long night. Great customer service!

Was in the mood for an old fashioned good ol' hamburger and fries. Usually Ron's is one place that can fit the bill. However, this location has REALLY gone downhill since last time I was here. Had a burger and the patties were like overly cooked so much, they were like hockey pucks. I have been to other Rons' including the original; Glenpool, Sand Springs, and they were NEVER this bad. French fries, though large portion, were just plain, frozen, bland fries. Very disappointed this time. Hope it improves. On the other hand, I do have to say the service was nice, quick and polite. I try to be very accurate in these reviews and unless I see something showing this place changes, I won't be back for awhile.

Great burgers here! I got a 1/4 lb cheeseburger and some loaded French fries and was very pleased--and all for a great price. the food was pretty greasy, but isn't that expected at a burger joint? the server was very knowledgeable and I never felt like I was waiting on her or the kitchen for our food. I'll definitely be returning to this location!

Get the half beef and half sausage burger with bacon and chili. You'll never want anything else.

The best thing about this place is probably the service. I think they use the crappiest grade hamburger meat and bacon because I've NEVER eaten such greasy meat. The meat to grease ratio was out of this world. My bun kept slipping off cause it was so greasy. The burger doesn't taste much better than Jack in the box. However, they put more bacon on there than I've EVER had on a burger. So that was good. I was disappointed with the sides options. All they have are fries and coleslaw. Where are the chips, onion rings, and other deliciousness? This is America and Americans like options.

I give it 5 stars for the taste!! The food is yummmm. The fries are fresh from the potato. The burgers are to die for. My favorite is the sausage chili cheeseburger!!! I wouldn't eat more than once or twice a year though... Might cause a heart attack. So you know that means goooood food!!

Go to Ron's when you're really, REALLY hungry. Like "you've been fasting for 2 days and are ready for your first meal" kind of hungry. Ron's is a meat bonanza with huge portions and cheap prices. When you order a burger, be prepared to get a patty that is twice the size of the bun - and if you opt for the cheesy or double meat versions, well, a clogged artery is likely in your near future. There was a rumor the chili was to die for, but my compatriots reported those rumors to be false. And apparently, the chili cheese dog is stomachache inducing, so best to avoid that one too. This place has DDP - aka, Diet Dr. Pepper. Considering you NEVER see that in Chicago, I was beyond excited - hey, what can I say, it's the little things in life.

Foods good, alittle greasey is the ??? The most hateful employees you will encounter! When they are close, maybe they will re-think how to treat customers!!

Do not go to Ron's if you're on a diet, or living healthy. They have this half sausage half ground beef burger that is amazing, spicy so watch out. Spanish fries (french fries with deep fried onions & jalapenos). And you can add pepper jack cheese and chili to anything on the menu, YEA!!!
